Yeah, I vacuum the gravel when I do my water changes, unless I see a "pile" of gunk, then I'll turkey baste it ha ha ha..I am up to 5 bettas now, and I just started. I am a proud freak too!

Lol, good. because poop adds ammonia to the water... there is a drawing some where on here, about why you need to clean up poop and uneaten food, its a cute drawing lol, and it helps alot!

Well, also what's wrong with cleaning up after your fish and loving them?
I know lots of people that clean up after their dogs when they poop in the yard....it's like betta poop: it attracts yucky bacteria and doesn't decompose quickly.

Yup, same here..wow..I thought I would just have 2 ~ but I took in 3 rescues, and now I have 5.. but my most recent are in QT for 10 days..so I don't need to rush to have 3 tanks right now..whew..
