Outdoor pond

I have a 150gal outdoor pond (in the shade) and was wondering if I could put multiple females in there with koi and goldfish? Just an idea, but I wanted to check before I tried it. The koi and goldfish do just fine with guppies and mollys and such.

Well, the common argument I find is that Bettas are tropical, while goldfish and koi are not. Also, goldfish have long flowing fins.. and from what I've heard, even females will sometimes target them. I do hope that someone more experienced will come along to answer this, but I see no compatibility between them.

I'm kinda new to fish. What do you mean by tropical? Warmer water? And would it help that these are somewhat larger goldfish?

Sounds to me like your pond is overcrowded as it is.

yes a koi easily will outgrow that pond. It should have a minimum of 500 gallons IMO. 1,000 is the best.

Also betta,koi and goldfish shoul never ever be mixed together you're just asking for trouble.
