Filter baffel not working.

I have a HOB (hanging on back) filter.

The problem isnt with the intake space. its where after the water has gone through the filter and is coming out it pours out the top like a waterfall and its producing a strong current and pusshing my betta around. I dont know how to make a baffel for this.

Any ideas are welcome

I took a filter sponge, cut it to size and rubber banded it to the filter. It works great :D

I did what the baffle thread said, worked great. I had the baffle higher on one side to create a small current that would then filter a bit more.

too much distance from the water surface can also create a strong cyrrent. I have my hob outlet touching the water surface.

Good thing my fish loves the current oO when I turn it down he looks all bored and starts chasing the cherry shrimps.

@OP - if you wrap a plastic sheet around the intakex this will also slow the flow...

I did this with my old mini bow 1 before :)
