Sigh. Atleast i know now

When i first bought my betta i though his natural fin color included some red in it. well. I got nervous one day when i saw a symptom of bacterial infection was flashing (rubbing agaisnt the tank)
So that night i cleaned his tank about 75% water change then i filled it back up.

Got home from school today and his infection went down i say 35 % :)
I feel bad he went through it but now hes on the road to healing :)
Should i continue the water changes everyday or everyother day?
i want him to get better.

Oh and also his fin rot has healed up nicely and it also getting better. i cant wait to see his full moon. instead of this tatty double halfmoon. it seemsthe fin split right down the middle but its about half way healed :)

Glad you figured it out :)

Problem with fin rot is tails don't always grow back right. My Eery boy who is a black Halfmoon had a beautiful long tail and then got fin rot that we both battled for about 2 months. It kept getting worse so I had to cut his tail to save him. It grew back some but not fully and is now quite short, slightly longer then a Plakat halfmoon's tail, but he's much happier now. He's got kind of a short stubby body and with that huge tail it was kinda hard for him to swim properly.

Anyway, i'm glad your guy is doing better with the fin rot thing, it's SUCH a pain in the butt.
