What type of betta?

Can someone help clarify Pudge's tail type (images in my gallery)

He was labelled as a half moon, but I'm not sure if he's a young half moon or just a delta.

When he flares, he gets almost a 180 degrees, but not a full one.

Also, his caudal fin is ruffled on the edge as well

I'm not positive on this one--so don't quote me on it--but he looks like a Super-Delta to me. He could be a young Half Moon as you said, and just hasn't finished growing? Either way, he's absolutely gorgeous! =)

I know, right? I don't think we ever get ones that gorgeous at our PetSmart. He looks something you'd find on Aqua Bid. Great find!

I got two more pics of him flaring.
I'm hoping they can help distinguish his type xD

And thanks :3
I was in awe when I saw him. There was a red and white halfmoon there as well who was stunning as he was, but he had some torn fins and I wasn't sure if it was something I ws ready to deal with at the moment xD

He's a S/DeT. See those rounded edges? And his tail spread doesn't make a 180* angle. Sorry if you wanted a HM. I *think* there was a Butterfly Betta introduced in his line, too. Pretty Betta you got there! ;)

I'm perfectly fine with Pudge, even if he isn't a HM ^^

What I got is 100% more than I ever expected from petsmart. I was expecting some solid color fish there, but Pudge was a nice surprisce xD

And yea, I knew he had to have some sort of ruffling type in his line because of how ruffled the edges are/
