Hi everybody! I'm Cheyenne and I'm a marine biology major at USM, focusing on cetaceans in particular. And if it isn't completely obvious, I'm addicted to KISS, to the point that I met them at a concert in 2009! I'm getting into the betta obsession because it's my dream to have a house full of tanks and I figured a betta is a great, personable fish to raise on my own - plus they're gorgeous! And I have to thank y'all and bettasdeservebetter on Tumblr (a pair of wonderful resources) for being so helpful in my research :)
Right now I'm getting ready to go back to college, but as soon as I get my car I'll be returning to pick up my 3-gallon hex from my gran's (can you believe I pretty much found it sitting under the bed collecting dust?!) I've already got a markup of the costs (yes, heater! yes, sponge filter! no dumb cube tank - sorry, LPS!), and I plan to allow at least a week to get the water set up. Taking my new roomie to Petsmart too so she can be involved in picking out the new boy or girl :)
I'll be sure to post pictures once I finally get it set up, but in the meantime, thank you guys for being such a big help and such a friendly-sounding community! See y'all around!
