It very well could be. I had a girl who was all a deep dark red, except her sides were a dull pink. They were battle scars from her past owner.

I think you should relax and let yourself heal. :) Wisdom teeth, oy. Give yourself a few days of worry-free time - if your fish is acting well and eating fine, and the scales haven't changed at all then it's probably fine and at the least nothing that will progress for the next few days.

You didn't seriously overfeed your fish by giving two instead of one pellet, I'm sure he'll cope with that. I fed my very weedy HM four large instead of four small pellets by accident the other day - eep - he was quite fat for a few hours and then did a giant poop, I don't know how he managed one that big, he's a very small fish. They're greedy little things, most can cope with the odd big meal.

Relax, enjoy your fish. Good job on making him well again. =)

Thank you both for the encouraging thoughts. My mouth is very sore, and yes your both right if hes acting fine and everything is ok then I dont have anything to worry about. Ill post some pictures tomorrow so you guys can get a look. but im almost positive its scars :)
