Can this plant be saved?

I have an anubias hastifolia in my new tank,i bought it in a pot and kinda just dropped it in there after QT. It already had started to get brown spots during qt so i thought being put in a 29 gallon it would be ok.

I have added some plant food(cant seem to get flourish here in the UK)

The leaves are still going brown/yellow and splitting...there are still some leaves that are green and healthy so my question is can i snip off the brown ones and what can i do to save the rest?

Perhaps removing the pot and tying to a rock or ornament?

I don't know if the pot is the problem or not, but I would definitely snip off any brown or yellow leaves. The leaves can rot and create ammonia in the tank.

yes, remove it from the pot :) if the rhizome is rotten, you an disose of the entire thing... I had an anubias leaf floating around for a momth mow. they really dont show signs of decay...

The rhizomes are pretty hard to kill - I have some currently sprouting infant plants off what become nothing but an ugly lump of stalk after being in an overcrowded holding tank for a month...

I'd snip off the old leaves, remove from pot (if the rhizome's a bit funky, cut off the healthy part and keep) and tie it to a nice bit of wood. They grow fairly slowly (though mine are doing very well atm..) so just wait and see.

I must confess that I have killed one =D and it was grown above the substrate :O
The indestructible anubias is the only plant I have sucessfully killed to day
