i got bubble nests!

its been two days with the new tank and with Pudge. So imagine my surprise when i wake up and see not one, but TWO bubble nests!

Buddha's was long, and stacked about two bubbles high.
But Pudges was amazing!

It was stacked 4-6 bubbles high and was about 2 inches long. I was so proud of my little guy!

Plus, he ate for the first time last night. The pellets are too big so I've resorted to flakes for now. He's a slow eater so some food fell to the bottom, but he just gobbled it all up. He likes the log very much and i can't stop getting pics of him in it.

I am so in love with this fish. His colors and personality are amazing! I can't wait for him to grow up x3
