Introducing Merlin, white HM Male :)

For the longest time I wanted a white male. Then I got Loki, who was all white with clear fins when I bought him. Well, Loki is now a blue marble..anyways. I went to PetSmart the other day, and low and behold. There was the most gorgeous white halfmoon betta. He has a small black spot on his one fin, but other then that he is all white. Im wondering if he is going to turn a different color but if he does oh well, I will love him. For sure, this has to be the last Betta I get for a while. Even though I say that all the time, I need to stop :P Anyways, he was in a semi-clean but not really cup. Without further adue, picture time!

One decent flare picture

Please note again, he is all white with just a small black spot. Some pictures make him look yellowish but he is not :)

What a lovely, adorable boy! Fantastic find! :)
Haha, ahh, the betta bug.....it bites and it bites hard xD Lol
I'm going to guess that he probably will marble at some point, but he seems like he'd be quite an interesting marble...;)

He's so pretty! I love his black dot, it makes me think of Jewel from 101 Dalmatians.

Are you sure hes a Veil tail? He looks nothing like my other VTs and carries himself very differently too. He also looks way different when he flares compared to the other VTs. Ill be ticked if I paid for a HM and got a VT :(

I cant really say if he's a VT or not since my VT's were never that round but he isnt a Hm. A Halfmoon is a D shape. But he sure if beautiful.. I'd snatch him in a heart beat even if he was a VT :)

yep. I noticed the dorsal and Anal fin. those were my first impressions he was a veiltail. then the rounded caudal is another sign. he will probably grow into a veiltail. he is beautiful though!

Aw dang. I guess thats what I get for snatching up a mislabeled DTHM a couple weeks ago, I only paid $4 for my DT when he was suppose to be $15.Oh well I will love him anyways, he is just so magnificant looking :)

Petsmart tends to mislabel their bettas a LOT. Or at least in Florida they do, but in cases like this it just doesn't matter because the betta is just to amazing to turn down. :)
