i dunno how many of you remember my post about adopting pair of rescue bettas. for those that don't, Ritter the HM, and Fritter the PK(?) were living in a divided .5 gallon with no water changes, and were gonna be flushed. until my friend took them in. :U she kept them for a few months, to make sure they were healthy, and they were shipped to me yesterday. 8U woke up early to set up their tanks, then stalked the mail guy for a few hours. i let them float in their bags, acclimating them, then let them out about an hour ago.
right away, Ritter flared at the camera. xD
of course, then he showed off for the camera. :U
and, his first picture, to show you how far he's come~
the female, Fritter. though, i call her Fritzy. :U thought she was a PK, but her fins! they're amazing! she's so dark blue, and combined with the bad lighting in my room and the dark backdrop of my desk, i only got two pretty bad pics. 8I
and her first pic, for comparison. :U
hard to believe the change! :U i'm excited that they're here. >w< they seem to enjoy their new tanks, even though they're smaller than what they're used to(Fritzy had a 3 gallon, Ritter had a 5. .3. they're now in a 2 and 1.5)...
