I'd like to get her a betta hammock, but they last time I went to see if Petco had one, they didn't. Her heater is her little betta hammock for now lol.

I have put a ping pong ball in there...she jabs at it, but then gets bored lol

Thanks to the others who replied. But I will not be getting another betta from a pet store. I strictly adopt. I will keep my eyes out in finding another betta for her. I'd prefer a sorority, but I know I need at least a 10 gallon tank for that. Anyways, thanks for your suggestions! I appreciate it.

By the way, I don't even need a mirror. LOL she flares at me sometimes when I come close to the tank., (I think she's mad? o.O frustrated, or maybe excited. Can't tell. Maybe just exercising. =3)

She's just reminding you that the tank is her place :P My old male used to do it.. ambush me from the plants at the back of the tank and come swimming at me fast and flaring. Then he realized it was me and beg for food.. and then bite my fingers if they got too close to the top of the water.. I swear these fish are nuts sometimes o.O

About the bored thing, it sounds liek you are doing okay :) Bettas do not need all that much. Also, about dividing and giving a female "freind" well actually, all bettas prefer to be alone. It would more stress her out.
