Bedroom Bowl

The scenario is that I have lots of betta fish from my Local fish breeder, and I want to keep one inside my room but I turn the air conditioner on and might alter the temperature.

The bowl will not be able to support a heater should I take the risk or is it to be considered a risk?

Suggestions? I do not like to abuse my betta pets.

A bowl? A heater is always needed with bettas unless the water temperature is kept at a steady 76-86. No big fluctuations, but those numbers are safe for bettas, though a higher temperature means they usually will live shorter as everything is sped up.

the temperature in the philippines is perfectly fine for bettas year round, they naturally live there, just dont keep your bettas in the room with aircon

Usually out of 10 the thermostat is placed on 7. I'm gonna get a bowl later and place it in with a thermometer without the fish of course.

When I do, I will update the thread.

I have my fish in the room with the AC (we have window units)

The tank goes down the most to around 74 -76 degrees over night, so I don't worry so much about mine.
