Yes, my two boys have a clear divider that I made, they flared for about a week and then chilled down and don't mind each other now, I probably could (but NEVER would) remove the divider for a bit if I was watching. When I made my divider I just measured really accurately and cut plexiglass to size, drilled in holes, and used NO clips, silicone or anything. It just fits, they've tried to knock it down many times but failed

Mishap !! I wanted to give my boys a weeks break from each other so I put the plastic cards in to block their view of each other.......they were not happy. They found another way to flare at each other. One would stick his head into a the hole in the acrylic to get the others attention then swim back and flare. Its bizarre and was a bit funny but they moved it up a notch and found the 1-2mm gap where the holders keep the divider up and were flaring through there. I'm assuming that when they turned around their fins would occasionally slip through the gap and they chomped each others fins :( Happened during the day while I was at work so I didn't witness anything but came home to find this. I've removed the cards and they have gone back to usual behaviour with no further fin damage but I'm going to have to silicone in those dividers or plug the gap when I do weekend water changes. For now I've moved their plants to block them from doing it.



Well at least I can say my bettas are clever.
