Hello, I just got a new snail called a golden mystery snail and my betta continues to blow up in his tank and now blows up at me when i approach the tank and he is no longer creating the bubble nest so i dont understand why he is blowing up at me and not attacking the snail does this mean i have to get rid of my snail or is it okay and he will eventually not blow up i just cleaned his water yesterday what am i doing wrong
he flares alot now and i really dont like when he flares and what do you mean by quarantine the snail he is just in with the fish. he flares at me everytime i look into the tank now and idk y but it really grosses me out and it makes him look mean and im already basically afraid of him so im not really happy hes flaring but i cant just get rid of my snail that would be like animal cruelty

When you get a new fish, plant or invertebrate and you want to add it to an already established tank you need to quarantine it ( put it in its own tank). You should QT things for at least two weeks before adding it to a tank, otherwise they could bring diseases and parasites into your tank.
Flaring is a normal part of bettas, their kinda known for having their big grumpy attitudes.
