Fin rot

So recently I had a tank, and I left it for 4 - 6 days cloudy, I cleaned it yesterday and then I put my betta who has fin rot in the new tank :) The tank sparkles has conditioner in it and I looked on the bottle and it also stops stress, anyways I added the betta in PROPERLY and he's so happy :) My little boy is thriving for once, I hope he blows a bubble nest because when he was a small baby he lived in a 1/2 gallon by himself. He's thriving with joy.

Anyways, his fins where blue and red originally but after I had him in the 1/2 he started to get green fins and brown lines, now when I added him to his new tank he's back to his original colors and has no lines, beautiful red and blue and sparkles! Anyways, his fins on the back I believe might have fin rot I was originally treating his fin rot in a 1/2 gallon with my friends betta since they both had fin rot, the tank was divided and then now I put him now he's happy, I treated him for 5 days with Aquarium salt in the 1/2 gallon with no heater or filter now he has a filter, many plants, a very clean tank.

Will his fin rot go away, I will get a heater soon as possible, will the Aquarium salt have any effect without the filter? I will add pictures of him soon as my phone charges. Thank you.

AQ salt doesnt need a filter, and if you use AQ salt properly and preform 100% water changes, then yes it will go away mine did and thats all ive been doing.

clean water is ALL you need, and frequent water changes. Never use AQ salt for more than a week, or it could SEVERELY injure your fish. Only use AQ salt for severe cases of fin rot.

well AQ salt helps for the rot to go away. like she said dont use for a week, you need the heater because bettas need heater, and warm water will make him happy and healthy and promote fin growth.
