Thanks MollyJean for the tip ,right now it does go to the bottom of the container ,but in case if i have to glue it would silicone be okay for this.

MollyJean said its good for the fish if the water is a a little tan ,do i need to buy something to test the water ,i only have one betta fish in the tank.
