found a new way to "play" with my Sushi

I'm sitting on the couch next to my Sushi's tank and running my finger along the side of the tank and he's following and flaring. I then took a pellet and pressed it against the glass and my finger and watched him try to eat it.

I have never seen him jump, so I decided to take the pellet that was "stuck" to my finger and hovered it over the water. Sure enough, he jumped out and ate it off my finger! It startled me at first, but I think I may have fun with this at feeding time.

Too cool...both Bella and Bali are starting to jump, they both have shorter fins so tend to do it more naturally than my heavily finned guys...it's so awesome to see! I love how Bella follows my finger along the tank too....

Yeah. It's okay. The tank had a hood too but you always have to have space for cords.... Unfortunately

It is a lot of fun to feed from your finger, I have been doing that with both my fishy's and it tickles unless you have a fish that bites harrrrd..but the other thing is now when I am ready to water change, my Sapph, jumps as soon as I open the top he starts to jump..and it's kinda annoying because now he jumps as soon as I get ready to open the top for anything..but my Sammy is not like that..he waits till he "Sees" food, it depends on the fish..

but they love to jump..and will consistantly do so, unless you stop feeding that way..so I only do it every once in a while now..sometimes also..they can land funny..on on something, a leaf of a plant..or they hang onto your finger even after the pellet is gone..lol..but don;t jump in case they are attached..you could accidentally fling him..
