Back in the early 90's you saw a lot of spade tails.. now, not so much. You're pretty much not going to find many male spades in pet stores (you're more likely to find a female by accident then a male). With the spade tail you should see more of a uniform lining.. both top and bottom equal in the tail- yours is angled downward, similar to young male VTs.
