And btw, does any one know how i could make a word, that when clicked on sends you to the link? like instead of posting the link i would rather just say 'this' and allow people to click on it to go there... :/
I know! I was on tumblr and this person posted the saddest thing about her betta. She was talking about how they dont need anything and how she only feeds them once or twice a week and how she doesnt even clean the tank. And then she said that companies just say that betta need heaters and filters to make money!
its half a gallon so if u pet in 2 fish they get a quarter of a gallon each which is just awful. i wouldnt even use it as a quarantine tank. but i see these shitty little tanks all the time, its not surprising unfortunately
i just read the reviews and was SO UPSET AT WHAT THAT PERSON SAID THAT I WANTED TO SNAP THAT PLASTIC "TANK" IN HALF AND CRUSH IT!
Oh wow..I forgot to tell you guys..my trip yesterday to Petco..OMg.. Saw some dead and dying ones, but I helped 3-4 People who knew nothing about bettas and wanted one, and started looking at them, and was talking about we will get this, and pointed to one of the Betta Duo with divider, and I jumped right in, and told them, the reasons why that was a bad idea, and started showin them pix of Sapphire when he was in the vase, how bad he looked, and how he looks now, so that brought attention by other shoppers, who chimed in on the conversation, and was asking all kinds of questions, about size of tank, if heater is needed, and why at all pet shops the employees are telling them the opposite,
I told them, they really don't know, and they need to be re-trained, and they were asking me how I got all my information, and I told them, lots of research..and a few friends who guided me in the right direction, and I could not be more thankful, and I also mentioned my most recent rescues..
and they were shocked, but loved to hear what I had to say..and was asking me if I was doing "Betta Seminars of sorts" yup...I gave em my e-mail for questions, and I am doing like a Betawebinar..to show how to properly clean and maintain a tank, they all opted for bigger tanks, and heaters..omg..I was in shock..it was exilerating to know I can pass on my knoweledge, and give a betta a better home because of it
I have used the Aqueon 2.5 gallon with the divider for two bettas. I use it as my emergency tank. I had to use it for a couple weeks when my glass tanks fell and broke. I've never used or would use the 1/2 gallon container. Even if it was temporary.
