Failed Conditioning and spawning.

My female jumped out of her cup and they started chasing for a minute I left them but then I realized he's off to kill her.

But they were really making progress showing off.. the bubble nest.. the fading stripes on the female, what's wrong with the pair..

Can you guide me through it I'll post a link of the vid once I upload it..

they will fight, its just part of the spawning process, there will be torn fins and missing scales. theres no way around that. as long as neither fish's life is in danger just let them be, could you post pictures of the pair? and have you gotten brine shrimp eggs yet

Female looks stressed. Stress stripes shouldn't occur. Instead breeding stripes. Remove the female

but in actual there were 3-4 stripes of fading through the chest or body part which I though was ready but I guess the male wasn't he was very agressive another failed pairing..

He bit her in the head that was when I said enough is enough...

though I really am bothered with what I did wrong I know the tank was too small but my local breeder shown me how he breed his and it was the same tank size as his, grow out is much larger ofc. still she got a bit at her dorsal fin and her head i just can't stand the aggression..

Mo can you help me out? I really wanted to breed my Sai to try out how to breed he is the oldest in my collection.

Oh my sai is not pass a yr, I got him for like about 1.5(1&1/2) months ago.

Though is it that he is just too aggressive? He really has a beautiful flare that is why I chose him.
