Yes. You would get if the father doesn't have any genotype of long fins. I believe 25% long fin, and 75 perfect shortfin

i dont know because i got him from a petstore, but since short fin is recessive and he has short fins then my assumption would be that he is homozygous for the short fin genotype. one more stupid question... so short fin and plakat are different?

Sorta. Short fin and Plakat are basically the same unless you are talking about the difference betweens an Assymentrical, or traditional plakat and a short fin halfmoon

i doubt he will be bigger than your average betta, might even be a little smaller, one of his sisters is bigger than him
