Anyways, I thought I'd introduce myself properly, instead of leaving things to you to find out.
I am Al (not really, but it's just a nickname I've been using onliine for years). I am a female, and am currently 19, going on 20 in February.
I live in New York. For the first 8 years of my life, I lived in Queens, the next 8 were in Staten Island, and in the last 2-3 years, I've been living upstate. The city is my home and i plan on moving back once I can afford a house with land.
I have 3 siblings, a 17 year old sister, a 11 year old sister, and a 11 month old (going to be a year old on August 27th) brother.
I have a few pets, considering our large household.
We have a family dog, who is a 10 year old Akita INU-(not a regular akita, the two are very different), Shiba Inu-Chow mix. She is our little aggressive teddy bear in that she is calm with the family, but extremely aggressive towards strangers. I also have MY dog who is a 4 year old maltese who also has aggression issues, but has managed to put them on the side as he gets along VERY well with my brother. When I move out, he will come with me since he has separation anxiety.
I also have two parakeets, Tweety and Prince. Both were labeled as "rare parakeets" for their colors are not what you'd normally see in a pet store. They are extremely dirty and obnoxiously loud, and I wouldn't recomend them to anyone who doesn't want to be up with the sun xD
Lastly, there are my two bettas who live with me and go where ever I go- Buddha and Pudge.
I am easy going person, but that's only because I hide a lot inside. It only comes out in extremely stressful situations, and so far this summer, that's all I feel it's been. I've been using BF as a crutch to help me through this summer, and I have to say its been helping a LOT. Getting Pudge was also another great thing to happen to me because it showed my parents that I was able to make the necessary steps to prepare for another pet, whether it was financially or just storage wise.
I return to college in a week, and I might not be on as much, but I don't want to just become a nameless face that people will forget if I disappear. So that's me in a nutshell!
