Need Help Slowing Down Filter

how can i slow down my filter i see its to strong is there any way ? i would appreciate any help thanks guys

They have really inexpensive valves at Petsmart. You just hook up your filter to it, and use the lever to control the flow.

I use a piece of aquarium foam over the water return to slow the filter. I have this filter in my 29 gal community. I sandwich it in between the filter and the hood to keep it in place without using a rubberband. I also stuff another piece of filter foam in the water intake tube. It works like a charm.
