Newt is turning pink

My pretty platinum guy is turning a deep pink color. I wasn't too happy with it at first, but he is turning out to be quite beautiful. Although comparing the pics, he doesn't even look like the same fish. lol

When I first brought him home...



and tonight...

Same with Irving, he was opaque and now his fins have huge blood red spots, very pretty! pictures:

I think he looks beautiful.I really think that is cool when that happen's,it's like a mystery not know how they will turn out ,thats why getting baby's are cool too!

I think pink bettas are kind of rare, aren't they? You have a celebrity betta there

he's a big ear, too, correct?

He was labeled as a delta, I believe he is a half moon? and I don't think he is a big eared, they are just as big as the others fishies ears. lol

we'd have to see a flared shot to be sure, but from those pictures i'm pretty confident he's an elephant ear DeT. my fiance's VT Eric did the same thing, he was originally about half blue/half black, now he's mostly black with blue accents.
