Switching to Pellet/Flake

Hello,

I recently bought a 4.5 month old beautiful Plakat and was told by the owner that in his post fry stage he was fed exclusively frozen bloodwoorm and occasionally freeze dried bloodworm.

He is perfectly healthy but I would like to get him on a varied diet. Anyone have any tips for enticing him towards some pellets or flakes?

Thanks in advance.

Get a high-quality pellet food, (i.e. New Life Betta Formula) And then fast him for 2-3 days. Feed him a pellet and see what he does, if he doesn't eat it then try again the next day, and the next, and the next. Or even just try to feed him the day he comes and if he doesn't eat, do as what I typed above. There should be more methods but I think this is the easiest one.

No problem, I learned this method just in case Lebron doesn't eat. Which is never. :D

If you can't get him to start eating pellets, you can soak them in garlic juice, if need be.
