Angry Stupid plastic grass

I had this plastic grass in my tank a bit back, and removed it after I assumed it was the culprit of Buddha's rip caudal.

It was in Pudge's tank because he seemed to really enjoy sleeping in it.

And it just got thrown out.
Why?
Pudge has a ripped caudal, anal, AND dorsal.

Not really happy about this...
But I guess it was my own fault.

Yeah plastics may look pretty but they are too sharp and stiff for the delicate fins of a betta. Hope the healing goes well.

Thanks

I'm not sure what to put in that's tall enough, but I'm thinking a tall statue of some kind that can go in and Pudge can swim around with. Buddha is staying in the 2 gallon so I don't have to worry about a divider.
