Best type of shrimp for a 5 gal tank

I'm setting up a new 5 gallon tank, and I'm thinking ahead a week or two as to what else I'll add into it, other than my crown-tail. I've got a mystery snail, and was thinking of maybe a few shrimp. But I'm not sure which type to get. Ghost, Red cherry, or something else.

I do currently have a few ghost shrimp in another tank, but I've not tried other types.

So - for those of you who have had multiple types of shrimp - what would you recommend?

thanks!

Until you know whether your betta will eat shrimp or not, I'd stick with ghost shrimp because they are cheaper.
