How do you know if your betta is constipated?

I just wish to know for future reference. Like signs on their body and such.

You can see if they're constipated if they look fat or they never seem to poo. Check for other visible symptoms as white dots on your fish, red streaks, white poo, rusty dust sprinkled all over them, raised scales, etc. They'd also act sticklike being lethargic, not eating, etc.

Well... Constipation is caused by over-feeding, so be careful to feed to much! Some people think it's something taken lightly, but in reality it can give your fish life-threatening diseases like swim-bladder disease and velvet disease,etc. If your fish has constipation, they look bloated, not fat, bloated, and they aren't moving so much, if they have constipation, fast every 2 days and on the third day, cook a green pea and chop it in 4... do it every three days and in time, depending if the constipation is alot or a little, it swell down in time, so that's it!!!
