What to call a fight-bred betta?

I'm just wondering if there's a term to distinguish the traditional sort of fighting-ring bred plakats from the more ornamental kind?

I really like these fish as a variety of betta but I'm finding it a bit annoying to keep explaining that I mean the 'fighting ring bred' variety and not the fancy or 'pet-bred' fish, which are quite different in a lot of ways.

So I'm wondering if there's an actual simple term to distinguish these fish from the other varieties of plakats available?

I think they're just called fighters. :) Some people say "5 star fighter" but I think that's a bloodline.. I have no clue. Different bloodlines have different names.
