Sick Betta Tank

One of the betta tanks at my store is not doing well at all. The tank is a divided 20 long and has been running for quite some time now. It has recently developed a bit of an algae problem, but that's since been taken care of. All of the long-finned bettas in the divided tank (VTs and HMs) have developed fin melt and become rather lethargic. I'm at a loss for what the problem is here and what to do about it. Please help!

Housing

What size is your tank? 20 gallons
What temperature is your tank? 80
Does your tank have a filter? yes
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? no
Is your tank heated? yes
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? 6 bettas in divided tank

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? Hikari pellets
How often do you feed your betta fish? 3 pellets once a day

Maintenance

How often do you perform a water change? weekly at minimum
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 20-50%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? For RO water: RO Right and Neutral Regulator, for tap water: Stress Coat

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters?

Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: <5ppm
pH: 7.0
Hardness: did not test, can test if necessary
Alkalinity: did not test, can test if necessary

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? Fin melt
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Lethargic
When did you start noticing the symptoms? About a week ago
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? Switched from tap water to RO water this morning, isolated the first fish who displayed symptoms a few days ago
Does your fish have any history of being ill? no
How old is your fish (approximately)?~4 months
