55 Gallon problems...

I have a 55 gallon tank, and I just introduced my betta into it, I asked my mom and she said it'll be alright since the tank is still cycling, I added him in and he's pretty happy just calm, but the huge problem is the tank has 3 mirrors made inside it, he's been flaring at his reflection for a minute now, non stop, I don't want him to get stressed I don't know WHEN we will be getting a background since my mom is busy so I don't know what I do now, I just put him in his new tank and emptied out his 1/2 gallon tank. I unplugged the filter since it was too strong, we have a small filter which will do SO MUCH better for the tank, just waiting for my mom to come home so we can set it up, it belonged to her tank she loved to death.

What should I do now? And is it very bad if he flares to long I got him a new tank and now he can't be in it? The tank has a working heater at the moment and a lot of decorations :( Also added 2 25mL of Aqua plus which has a stress coat forumla in it and it's a water conditoner.

I turned off the lights so it's dark the tank, hopefully he cannot see the mirror.

flaring is normal he is setting up his territory.

Yes I know, but the tank has a inside mirror build in the back and on the two sides, I don't want him constantly flaring since it'll stress him out :L If I put a background in the inside it'll mess everything up, now I just introduced him to his new tank, emptied out his older water from his 1/2 I don't want him getting depressed if I move him back to the 1/2


D: And I would have to introduce him to the 1/2 since it's new water >.<

Flaring doesn't mean he's marking territory. Could you block the view with decorations?

Lebron, I don't think so, since the tank is big I don't think there are decorations long enough to block it >.< Argh, I wish the tank didn't have inside mirrors.

I am not sure if I should put him back in the 1/2 gallon tank...I emptied out the water, added new water and then put Aqua Plus in it, but I don't want him getting depressed...And I just introduced him >.< Big mess up...

Hm... Could you get a Kritter Keeper? They're pretty cheap.

Not at the moment, I am not sure when we will be visiting King Ed again, but I don't think they carry those, but Pet Habitat does, but should I put him in the 1/2 gallon right now? And should I introduce him back in the 1/2 gallon...

Plant it also he is defending his territory from an intruder also he is fairly aggressive.

As long as you don't see stripes or physical damage, he should be fine in there.
