Caviar's first bubble nest!

After getting my first betta I told my boyfriend that I hope he'll be so happy with all the space that he'll build a bubble nest half the size of his tank lol. It's been a week since I got him, and I was starting to wonder if he didn't like me because he wouldn't build a nest. Well, I spoke too soon 'cos when I woke this morning I caught him doin' his thang!

When I first got Caviar the betta bed, he was all over it like milk on cereal. Eventually his interest moved over to the thermometer where he enjoys twisting around it, and then perching upon it to rest. So that is where he built his little bubble nest, in between his two favorite places. Silly fish.

Lol... I remember Sprinkles First EVER bubblenest, although she's a girl... She made teeny tiny bubbles, not even ones you can see (Yeah you can see them, but you have to be right in front) easily.... She was going On and On and On.... Until she became furious at the end of the week, because they were tiny, after that she started furiously popping the bubbles, charging at them, it took her about 8 minutes to pop all of them.... she was going the fastest I've EVER seen her!!! then she stopped for 4 days, and went at it again because she was bored... and the same thing happened again... :) Thats my experience with the first bubblenest!!!
