I use homemade opaque acryilic dividers in my 10 gallon for 3 of my male bettas. I recently read about poret (basically foam) tank dividers. I read that they can double as filters, so I'm considering buying some. I read that if you get them at a thickness of less than 2", you have to find a way to anchor them to the bottom. The person who said this was using a one of these dividers in at least a 55 gallon, and somone else said that its different if you're using it for a "small" tank, but he didn't specify how small is small. So my question is for anyone who uses poret tank dividers. If I used 1" thick poret dividers in my 10 gallon, would I need to find a way to anchor them down? Or is that thick enough to stay in place on its own in a 10 gal?
