Hi . I joint the forum today, and you guys really seem cool, so thought I would join you
Here's my betta fishes. I have three, 2 females,and a males

Are those B.splendens or another Betta species i just keep a chocolate Delta Tail male and a blue veil tail female.

Hello, and Welcome Suki, Thanks for joining our forum, it is a great place to learn all about the wonderful world of betta's and I love it..I have learned so much..and now love to share everything I learn to people who are just getting to know about bettas, I have 5 of my own..4 of which are rescue fishy's..Astro is very pretty..as are your girls..I recently added 2 girls into our betta family..with the 3 boys..they are such a wonder..Nice to have you here..how long have you had your fish?

@ ChoclateBetta - Uhm, I'm not really sure what breed they are? I think the male is yes (a veil tale, if I'm correct), but not sure about the females...

@ Lelei - Thanks I'm keen on learning about them, they're really so cool, by far the best fishes I've ever had, they are so clever, and entertaining!

I've had Astro for about two months, and the females for a month. I have them in the same tank, according to the pet shop it was fine, but then lots of others told me it's not good keeping them together, but so far they have behaved, and not hurt each other...

Your fish is also really pretty, I like Sammy and Sapphire =)

B.Splendens is not a breed it is a species veil tail is a variety like B.pugnax is a species Betta is a family.

OH boy you are keeping the Male with the females..and they don't nip at each other..hmm..interesting..I had to rescue the ones that I have now, from each other, because of that problem..nice to know they are getting along..:)
Aww. thanks on the compliment on my Sapphire, he is my first rescue fishy..he used to live in a vase..it was horrible..and Sammy, my daughter picked him out for her birthday..she did very good:)

Do you perhaps think that they will keep getting along? Or will they get nippy at a stage?
Shame, I've seen that a lot, people keeping them in vases, it's sad!
