Addiction beings again...

After the whole break I took from this site and all, I kept my bettas pretty low key due to my personal problems and said I would keep it at the 5 that I had.


Well, now that I'm beginning to feel a bit better and I'm back to this site, within the past two weeks I have 5 new additions.

Two days ago I picked up a copper butterfly HM at Petsmart...I haven't been able to take a good picture of him yet as he's skittish.

At the same time, I picked up a really pathetic looking guy...generally I don't do 'rescues', but for some reason he really called out to me. He's still not doing very well, but I'm keeping at it. I think I might have to get him a better heater.

Theeen today I went back to petsmart to get more plants and I picked up a yellow girl. My justification is that there's too much testosterone right now and yellow girls are pretty hard to come by.

And since I'm moving Remus to the 5 gallons, as I had plans on making the 10 gallon tank a shrimp tank...I figured, why not just put the girl in there and start another sorority?

So expect another 4 girls sometime soon in the future, lol. This site is sooo bad for me...

No kidding...
I'm going to stop after the sorority though...I don't have any room left anyway, lol.

While it's not so pleasant physically, I find that i feel better after I clean a tank and know that I'm taking care of something that depends on me.

I might put a few shrimp in it anyway, but the sorority will be cheaper anyway...I'd have to find a place that ships shrimp online and from what I've seen so far it's pretty expensive...

I'll definitely be doing it in the future though.
