Got Personalities

My crowntail Redcrown has a shy fleeing type personality but he sure is strong. Saphire my Blue/Green/Black V-tail I put them under a light, is more curious and a heck of a lot friendlier. i love there two personalities. Crowntails are interesting. But so are splenders. My first Crowntail btw.Got somewhat of a sick fish ib the crown tail did not see it before but he seems to have a little bit of Velvet. Sucks. But I shall treat it. Hey I got a rescue so to speak with out knowing, by the way the Pet store could not have known the just got that stock.

He has velvet? D: Well, it's easier to treat than fungal infections I'll tell you that.

Well, Lebron here is as aggressive as PKs. ;) He ate all his ghost shrimp buddies under 2 weeks! I know, I feel sorry for the shrimp. He flares and jumps at everything. Whether it's his food, my finger, the sponge filter's bubbles. ^^ He's not those gentle Bettas. At night, oh boy. When I tell him to sleep he sure does. He's not those hyper ones either. But either way, aggressive to lazy at night, he is still my Betta. <3

I know Lebron it's sad a bit he has the white fuss under his mouth and I know is Velvet because he's still too young. I just put aqua salt in there in his qt bowl. I'm so gald i got them a qt bowl each so I can treat them the way the should be treated. I even got small container for while I clean out there qt tanks and change there 5 gallon and stuff I will make sure my fish live a long and healthy life. No worries Lebron they do have there 10g diveded to 5g set up is in the Habitataquarium section go take a look.

What, I'm confused...? Velvet is a parasite and it appears to be a a rusty gold sprinkled all over him. What's this whiteness under his mouth, fuzzy?

Hum could be a fungal thing then I don;t know going to treat him with what i know for now

Then you use Aquarium Salt as well for the fungal problem if it's white and fuzzy looking. I hope he recovers soon!

Thanks aquarium salt is what I always use for sickness Unless is Ick then i would need something better but really aquarium salt usually does the trick for everything. and is nottoxic for the fish.

Actually Saphire should be called emerald because He has more green than anything and his head is black.
