What color/Tail type would be a good match for this female?

I would like to breed this female.
What tail type is she? I think she was labeled as Veiltail. Looks spade shaped.
I don't think I have a suitable male for her right now. What do you guys think would be a good male to look for? For example: Color, Tail type, other features.

She's a veil tail. You can tell by the double rays in her tail. Lovely color.

Thank you! So by double rays you mean how the "vein" in the tail forks? Is this unique to Veiltails. I'm just really interested right now in identifications of tail types and colors. I guess it comes from my other hobby birdwatching. I think I've been keeping fish for just under 2 years. I've been birdwatching for a long time.

Usually, veil tails have 2 rays, deltas have around 3-5, and half moons have as many as 16! After that you have rose tails with an overabundance of rays. Hope this helps.

Personally I prefer solid colors (one color on body and fins). So I would pair her to an (as solid as you can find) irid color.

If you want to lengthen your HM fins, you can pair her to a rose tail or a massive ray HM. Then work your way to return offspring to a HM form.

She is very beautiful, but more so as a pet fish.

Veil tails are basically the "mutt" of the fish world. They truly aren't worth breeding. Pet store bettas also have an unknown background. Meaning there's no telling what the fry will look like...
It will be difficult to get homes for all the fry, especially when most don't want veil tails because they are common...

She is a gorgeous girl, my betta is an orange female veil tail. She is a very pretty girl, but she isn't worth breeding. :)
