If you think about it makes sense, freeze dried removes all the liquid & leaves just the casing or shell & because it's dried out its smaller but when it gets wet as in their stomach, it'll swell. So if a fish eats it in its dried form he'll eat more & then it swells in his belly causing a problem. I never thought about it until someone pointed it out to me.
