NEW BETTAS! (HMPK and HM)

this is Odin II (the first Odin died from a fungal infection that claimed half of our community tank before we got control of it ) the lighting's not great, he's BRIGHT purple in real life:

and here's my fiance's new halfmoon named Sam (he's in a divided 10g with Frodo on the other side)

on closer examination it turns out that Sam is a butterfly super delta, not a HM. he is ALMOST there, maybe a 160 or 170 degree spread, but i don't think it's a full 180. last night he and Frodo found a spot on the divider where they could see each other through the foliage, and they both just popped like little popcorn kernels, it was one of the most majestic things i've seen in my life! (don't worry though, we took extra care to disguise the divider so most of the time they ignore each other)

I absolutely LOVE Odin II... I've always had a soft spot for PKs and HMPKs. I also like the bluish-teal color on Sam.
Overall, I'm happy for you and your fiance's new fish.

he's not that teal in real life, he's almost a pure emerald green, but thank you!
