Seeking advice on ripped fins

So I've been noticing over the last few days now that my fish has rips in his fin. The pictures are of the last few days. There is nothing sharp in his aquarium and the plants are all real. I thought maybe it was the filter pushing to much current so I baffled it. Any ideas on any over possible causes?

sorry its taken a while for any1 to reply..(im treating my sick male) something else that can cause it i biting.though looking at the pictures i see no bite marks..even though any decor or plants arent sharp.if it gets caught on it,like he is laying and resting on it,then swims away really fast.it can get snagged and do that.2 of my bettas did that.

if u can take more pictures of the entire aquarium.i can take a look and see if there is anything in there that could cause that :)

are u able to take more pictures but with him away from any plants in the background so i can see his finage without anything being behind it like plants and decor?it looks like he has black stuff on his fins but i cant be certain its on his fins and not just a color difference in the background of his fins.

and having pictures of now would help also see the difference.

When my betta Angus came to me with the beginnings of fin rot, I treated him with tetracycline, water at 78-80 degrees, and LOTS of water changes on a regular basis. I think clean water and good food helped him as much as anything. I'm a big believer in water changes!!!
