Filters ?

I was just looking for something else and came across the aquaripure? Then I looked at some of the denitrate diy with tubing sytems?

Do any of you use those? The first one uses vodka every couple weeks to feed the bacteria? ymmmm, lol. If you make the tube one yourself, do you add vodka to feed it?

Does it just go on forever? It looks like it will work better than the bioballs, etc. Since water can be a journey to get in the winter, lol, if i could use this to use less water, er changes, that would be great. There are times, usually only lasting a couple, maybe 3 weeks, when I have to carry everything up here from the road, in the deep mud, lol.. The kind of mud that sucks your boots off? hahahaha.

Any info, big thanks!

I never heard of those kind but....vodka? That sounds a little dangerous if a fish is involved.

Its the sugar in the vodka that feeds the bacteria
