Oh yea, if a betta is suffering in horrid conditions, and someone comes along and purchases that betta to "Save it " from impending doom, then of course it's a save, meaning to better, proper conditions, rather than dying in it's own waste, in a cold ammonia filled cup..as opposed to the ones that are very healthy, with no fins misisng, or sickly looking those ones, that don't need rescuing as of yet..
