Lighting Question.

I have a 15Gallon tank and the lights it came with are not great for plants.
I picked up this Hidden LED light that is BRIGHT! I'm worry it would bother my betta. Anyone have any info? Or light suggestions? The lights for the hood now are the 6inch screw in bulbs and pet smart has no sunlight bulbs. I would love to get some info from you guys.

I've tested it out more close to the tank and it seems to scare my betta my neons and ghost shrimp don't mind it.
