Ray of sunshine at Walmart

My friend and I were at Walmart last night and of course I gravitated over to the betta fish. This little guy just looked so pitiful in his dirty, cold cup. I couldn't leave without him. I am thinking of possibly rehoming him once I make sure he is healthy.
The ammonia in his cup, yikes!

And a few pictures of him still in his cup, I will get more pictures once he has settled down into his new home:

Guys. Same betta, same day. This is what warm, clean water can do for a betta.

I love seeing how quickly they color up and change. I'm sure simply being able to see the poor guy well without all the murk helps but he's certainly looking great.
