Talking My collection is complete meet Blackbeard & Black Mamba....

Well I decided to stop in at a Petco that I haven't been in before just to see what they had. Well as you can imagine they had exactly what I was looking for. A white betta and a black betta. Wasn't expecting to buy more Betta's today. I was looking for plants. Oh well.

The thing about the plakat is they were selling him as a Halfmoon Double tail Plakat. I Dont think he is a doubletail but I could be wrong.

What awesome finds. I am still looking for black betta myself. Both Blackbeard and Black Mamba are beautiful boys.

And I think Blackbeard is a DT.

Thank you! Maybe when he settles in a little more I can try for another picture so I can see his tail better. Then I will post it and let everyone help figure it out. I know that Petco sometimes has them marked wrong.

Could be the lighting, but it looks like two overlapping lobes. Sometimes, the two lobes grow together too.

That works for me. He was being so feisty and he was white I couldn't pass him up. No matter what he was.
