Question Betta vs Heater?

Ok so I finally undivided my 10 gallon tank and my betta does not mind the 2 emerald Cory roaming around the bottom of the tank, but when ever the adjustable heater's light turns on he goes up to it and nips at it lol. should I be worried? can this stress him out he doesn't flare when it turns on but he always goes for the light when it turns on like ALL the time. The heater was on the cories side when the tank was divided. he's been doing this for about 1 week now.

Probably curios those little guys love that kind of stuff also I would buy a third cory emerald only I only owned albino cories never lost them but good they both breath air and like soft water make sure you have hiding places.

hey choclate thanks for the quick response as usual :P yeah hey have hiding places everything is fine for them Idk about a third one Phillip is finally doing fine with other fish he was mad territorial with the 2 other albinos I had with him. I might get a third one I'm just scared my betta "Phillip" will get mad again and chase them around relentlessly once again.

yep algae wafers and shrimp pellets for my Cories :). Betta pellets and an occasional tropical fish flake for the Betta. I feed them separately with a plastic mesh divider so the Betta doesn't get over fed.
