I don't have a "recipe" for them...I make some with left over chili..I just heat tortilla chips, then add some chili on top along with some sour cream, and shredded cheese...I sometimes do this with leftover taco fixins too...I just heat the taco seasoned beef, put it over heated tortillas, sour cream, cheese...and jalapenos if I have them!

LOL...Hubby and I usually eat 3 tacos each, so I have leftovers...I break up the taco shells for these! You could always just cook the hamburger and use a small packet of taco seasoning mix to flavor it and make your nachos from that!

Yes.

First the chilie

1 onion chopped
1 Tbls. onion flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp oregano
1 packet chilie seasoning (I use mcCormick)
1 packet of taco seasoning (I use old el paso)
1 8oz can chilie beans
1 8oz can kidney beans (drained)
1 small can green chilis
2 Tbls. chopped pickled jalapenos
3 Tbls. salsa
1 tsp. cheyanne pepper sauce
1/4 tsp. ground cheyanne pepper
1 tsp. cumin
1 8oz can condensed tomato soup
1 lb. hamburger

Fry onion; add hamburger and cook until done. Add garlic powder, jalapenos, salsa, cumin, half the green chilis, and half of the taco seasoning.

In a large pot add the beans, tomato soup, cheyanne pepper ground and sauce, the other half of the taco seasoning and green chilis, chilie beans, oregano, salt and pepper, garlic salt, onion flakes, and chilie seasoning.

Now combine the two mixtures. Cook unti hot.

Now for the nachos

Spread some thick corn chips out on a cookie sheet, top with the chilie and a goodly amount of cheese. Pop in the oven at 350 degrees and cook until cheese is melted. Serve with scallions and sour cream.
