u can buy Epsom salt pretty much anywhere.well other than pet stores..pharmacys have it.as well as big shopping stores.like walmart if there is 1 near u.any dollar store as well sells it.im not sure what stores u have in ur area.

ok yes stop the aquarium salt for now until you will finish course with medication. I don't know what is aokashi recommendations but i recommend to do daily water changes even if box don't tell you to do so..But every time when you change his water (betta acclimation) add required dose of the medications for that day. I don't know instructions but i will give you example
Day two if you need to add second dose of the med's. Change him and add double dose (original dose he was in and the dose for that day). And always always acclimate him slowly.
Just have him in his changing cup and add a little new water with meds and let him acclimate for about 10 min then do it for a few times. After that you can put him back in his tank.

And hold on aq salt you can use it after you done with mediation...will see how he doing.

it always good to have aquarium salt and epsom salt just as emergency kit. Both of them hve antibacterial/fungul effect. The same instructions for both . But aq salt you can use no longer then 13 days ...the course is 10 days and in some cases you can use 13 days. Epsom salt you can use for long time as much as you need...

Epsom salt you use for buoyancy problem(sbd , pop eye, constipation, internal parasites)

Betta is beautiful i hope he will pull through. Looks good though ..

Today he seems to be a little more active! I just woke up and checked on him and I saw him swimming around a little instead of laying at the bottom!

He's still not interested in food though.

I only have freeze-dried bloodworms (although I haven't tried those yet either). I know it sounds a little silly but the frozen ones really repulse me.

See I'm glad he's perking up! He is probably just getting use to not being abused- ya know? Also when you bring a new betta home they're often shy and won't eat because of the new environment.
Try soaking a pellet in garlic juice, it might entice him to eat :)
