Hello from California fellow betta enthusiasts!
I have run across this forum a few times and always get sucked in reading the posts, so I thought it was time to join the fun
Gotta love a forum dedicated solely to these gorgeous fish!
Little bit about myself:
I have had bettas as far back as I can remember. My parents were big fish hobbyists, so I must have inherited the bug! I have recently taken the leap from betta keeper to breeder and have found it to be an awesome experience, so I plan on doing it as long as I can. I hope to show one day soon, but right now, I am just learning the ropes and trying to get a good working understanding of genetics. I am currently working with halfmoons (and will probably stay there as they are my fave) It is so amazing, the varieties they have these days, compared to when I was a kid with the veiltails (not to dis veiltails - I still have a few pretty VT boys as pets!) I will have to add pictures when I get some more time
Anyway, I look forward to chatting with you fellow betta lovers and happy to have found this forum!
