Your welcome, but I know only the basics. More experienced breeders such as Mo, Mr. V, OFL, Sincerely, tcopicat, etc. They should identify more possible problems.
That's not a spoon head it's a hunchback- a major fault in the top line. On the good side he has even lobes for a dt! He also doesn't have the long front ray on his dorsal which is one of the main reasons for breeding dt into your line. His ventrals are also very skinny and are fairly long compared to his anal but we would need flaring pictures. He's a great pet just not a good breeder at all.
His color is nice, hunchback is very bad, that would be hard to breed out of the future fry. I love his dorsal and his even lobes in his caudle are wonderful. He would be a good breeder male if it just wasn't for his hunchback.
i knew somthing looked wrong with him i thought spoon head lol slim pickings out there i was also checking out this red female for a cherry red line i have i found 1 fm shes red with a green sheen but to me her top line looks week u decide here the pic
Her topline is not bad at all! She has a slightly long anal but she has a nice thick body. When you're looking to make a cherry line is little iridescence to none at all. She also has nice branching on her caudal. Have you looked at a member of our forums Bettas?
Timberland has a ton of nice females. You should pm her!
